Although our MSDP buildings have now closed temporarily due to Coronavirus, our staff in the Equipment Department are still be able to assist with any equipment assessment, installation and/or repair enquiries. Please contact us at 0151 228 0888 or by emailing receptionat.liverpool@msdp.org.uk.

We are commissioned by Liverpool Social Services & Wirral Department of Social Services to assess and where needed, provide equipment for the home of those living within their areas. During an assessment, usually at your home, our Technical Officers will discuss your needs and how alerting devices may improve your day to day living.

Any equipment issued is provided on a loans basis, for as long as you are living within the borough and find it a benefit.

Equipment that may be available includes:

  • Flashing light doorbells
  • Telephone amplifiers
  • TV aids
  • Baby or Carer alerts
  • Vibrating alarms
