Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, our MSDP buildings have now closed temporarily. However, our Duty services is still continuing for those who require letter translating, calling companies on clients’ behalf, and for any assistance in general. Please see image below for contact information.

Our Team provides support to Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing People aged 18 years and over. We provide support for three Local Authorities – Liverpool, Wirral and Sefton.

All our staff have an in-depth knowledge of issues surrounding Deafness and Deaf Blind, and members of the team are able to communicate using the following methods:

  • British Sign Language (BSL)
  • Sign Support English (SSE)
  • Deaf Blind Hands-on/Manual

Our Duty Officers offer duty drop in sessions, in which we can deal with a wide range of issues in relation to housing related support, accessing/sign post to other services, managing finances & DWP benefits and support with Health services. We enable clients to be involved in making their own decisions by offering advice and guidance.

Mark Hart, Duty Officer is available to support people in Liverpool and Adam Brennan, Duty Officer is available to support Wirral Residents.

Both Duty Officers are available Monday to Thursday.

Sefton duty is provided by the support service.
