Interpreting and Communication Support
Here at the Communication Services Department, we can provide a wide range of language service professionals who are able to offer quality services to D/deaf, Hard of Hearing and Hearing people alike.
Services that we regularly provide include:
- English – BSL Interpreters
- Note Takers
- Palantypist
- Lip Speakers
- Deaf/Blind Interpreters
- Deaf Relay Interpreters
Within the team, we currently have 3 Registered Fully Qualified BSL Interpreters, 2 Registered Trainee Interpreters, 1 Registered Junior Trainee Interpreter and 2 Communication Support Workers, but also use a number of freelance interpreters if our team are unavailable. We are able to undertake a wide range of assignments such as one-to-one meetings, training courses, conferences, legal, social services work and much more... Just ask!
