Building Audits

We offer a Building Audit service which will help identify and show the impact of the barriers encountered by Deaf people and offer solutions to address concerns making a safer more inclusive environment.

The Audit will include outside spaces within the site as well as the interior of the building and is carried out by a Deaf Professional.

A meeting to discuss specific needs will take place prior to a full and thorough audit being carried out, some areas that we address in the Audit are:

  • Flashing Lights
  • Health & Safety
  • Fire Alarms
  • BSL Translations
  • Pagers
  • Loop Systems
  • Confidentiality
  • Signposting

Our Audit includes a detailed written report of our findings, together with suggestions for addressing any barriers encountered. Dependant on the size of the building if the audit time exceeds 7 hours on site we will be happy to discuss costs.

Average Audit Cost: £500
