Wirral Borough Council

MSDP have a long established working relationship and partnership with Wirral Borough Council.  The Authority works very closely with MSDP to deliver its statutory obligations.

MSDP have several programs funded solely or jointly by the Borough Council.  These programmes include: delivering social work services to both adults and children; a successful supporting people unit, environmental aids assessment team and a new Deaf/Blind Programme.

MSDP are based at the Lauries Centre in Birkenhead.  A unique building in the area housing many community groups and projects.  The building owned by the local authority has enabled many groups to have modern facilities and the opportunity to create new valuable partnerships with other societies and groups using the building.
