Deaf Community
MSDP supports a host of user groups organised and run by members of the Deaf community. The Deaf User Group or DUG is the umbrella, which encompasses all of the user groups.
The user groups meet at both our centres:
Liverpool groups at Queens Drive in Liverpool.
Wirral groups at The Laurie's Centre in Birkenhead.
The Liverpool groups are:
- Tinnitus Club
- Hard of Hearing Club
- Elderly Persons Club (EPC)
- Church Group
- Bar Group
- Sports and Social Club
- St Vincent de Paul Group (SVP)
- 50/50 Fun Club (Liverpool Deaf/Blind Group)
- MerseySign Deaf Theatre
- MSDP Directors
The Wirral groups are:
- Wirral Deaf/Blind Group
- Wirral Deaf Social Club
- Wirral Hard of Hearing Group

The Deaf User Group regularly has meetings where representatives from each of the user groups get together to discuss future events or news regarding their group. The DUG meetings are open to anyone who wishes to attend to gain access to this information.
