50/50 Fun Club
The Liverpool Deaf/Blind Group had its first meeting on 27th April 2007. In this meeting, the service users were asked what did they want from the group?; what activities did they want to do?; what day did they want to meet?
The group compiled a list of activities and decided to meet every other Friday.
In 2008, the group changed their name to the 50/50 Fun Club. Each service user has 1-to-1 support from MSDP’s Communicator Guide Team, as well as other helpers who offer their time.
The Club participate in a range of activities including:
- Day trips
- Crafts, such as card and mask making
- Cookery
- Horse riding
- Bowling – The Club now has its own bowling competition with a cup!

- Trip to Everton Football Club
- Cadbury's World
- Beeston Candle Making Workshop
